Privacy Policy

Home Intercom (also listed as “HomeComms”) · Last updated: June 6, 2026

Home Intercom is a voice-intercom app: you hold a button to speak, and your voice plays on your own Sonos speakers. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and your choices. The app is provided by VB Dev Enterprises (“we,” “us”). Questions: varunb007@gmail.com.

Information we handle

How we use information

Solely to provide and maintain the service: to authenticate you with Sonos, discover your speakers, deliver your voice broadcasts, sync your preferences across your devices, and keep the service secure and reliable. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Microphone

The microphone is accessed only while you hold the talk button, solely to capture the message you choose to broadcast. The app never records in the background.

How information is shared

Data retention

Your choices & data deletion

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Sonos authorization tokens are stored on our server and are never exposed to the app on your device. We take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

Home Intercom is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
